Note: Netscape Communicator is different from the straight Netscape Browser. The Netscape browser is a stand alone program, and does not have options for accessing emails. To configure Netscape Communicator for emails, open the program then click on Edit from the above tool-bar, then click on Preferences.
Double Click on the word Mail and Newsgroups. Select Identity then enter your name as you would like it to appear when people get email from you. Enter your email address, this will be in the format username@issl.co.nz
Click on the Add button. You will then see a window similar to the one showing below. Enter the Server Name as: mail.issl.co.nz Under Server Type, make sure this is showing POP3 Server. You may want to tick Remember password here. Next time you try to check your ISSL emails, you will be prompted for a password. Once you have entered your password, you will not be prompted in the future, unless you change your password. Click the OK button to return back to the previous window.
Further down the Mail Servers page, click in the white box next to Outgoing mail (SMTP) server and type: mail.issl.co.nz You have now finished setting up Netscape Messenger for your email. If you want to setup your news server continue on with the below instructions, otherwise click the OK button.
