On your desktop, double click on My Computer, and then Control Panel. Double click on the Icon Network and Dial-up Connections, then double click on Make New Connection to start the Network and Internet Connection Wizard.
Click Next to continue. Select Dial-up to the Internet, then click the Next button to continue.
Click on the option I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN), then click Next to continue.
Make sure that I connect through a phone line and a modem is selected, then click the Next button to continue. Make sure the Area code box is empty. Delete any existing numbers in the area code. For the Telephone number, type 086784338. Remove the tick from the box Use area code and dialing rules, then click the Next button to continue.
Enter in the username and password you had chosen upon joining ISSL. Click the Next button to continue. Note: If you are not sure of either the username or password, please give the ISSL support team a call. We will be able to find your username for you, or reset your password to a new one if needed. For the Connection Name, just type ISSL, then click Next to go to the next step. When prompted to set-up your email program (Outlook Express), just click No. Click the Next button, and then Finish to complete the dial-up connection for Windows 2000. Note: Refer to the configuration instructions for setting up Outlook Express.
The Internet Connection Wizard will have set-up ISSL as your default connection. Just double click on the Internet Explorer Icon on your desktop to connect to the Internet. | ||||||
